Green Chilli Konttattam
Green chili Kondattam Sun dried green chilies or green chili Kondattam is a very delicious recipe served as a dip or as a condiment. It is very popular in South Indian dishes. It is very simple to prepare green chili kondattam. Begin with dipping green chilies in boiling water and placing them on a muslin cloth. Allow the chilies to dry in the sun for a couple of days. After the chilies have dried, marinate them in curd and salt for two hours. Remove the chilies from the curd mixture and again put them to dry in the sun until the chilies are completely dried. Now fry the chilies in coconut oil until they are crisp and brown. You can serve green chili kondattam with hot rice and curry. These crisp and crunchy hot chilies can also be sautéed in hot ghee and served with idly and dosa. Green chili kondattam can be stored for a few days in a cool dry place.
