Avalonsunda (Home made)
Avlosunda is a traditional and well relished snack in Kerala. It is in the form of roasted rice balls made with coconut and Jaggery syrup. The process of making Avalosunda is quite simple. First Avalose powder is prepared with rice powder, flour, grated coconut, cumin seeds and sesame seeds. Then Avalosunda is made with Avalose powder, jaggery, ghee, ginger powder and cardamom powder. These balls have a long shelf life of about six months as these can be prepared and kept it air tight containers.
